3 Winners Hit Jackpots Totaling $1.3 Million At Mohegan Sun
In the last week, three winners secured huge jackpots at the resort casino, with the largest prize over half a million dollars.
UNCASVILLE, CT — Three lucky winners scored jackpots totaling $1.3 million at Mohegan Sun, according to a statement from the casino.
A Connecticut resident playing blackjack at Casino of the Earth on Aug. 20 won $484,961.60 on a $5 side bet. The player hit the Super 4 Royal Flush Progressive Jackpot to secure the prize.
Then Aug. 22, Michael C. and Stephanie C. of Lake Grove, NY, were playing on an IGT Wheel of Fortune Gold Spin slot machine in Casino of the Sky when they spun a $338,662.16 jackpot. The lucky couple was betting $5 per spin at the time.

The biggest jackpot was won Aug. 23 when a Connecticut resident won $519,009.90 on an Aristocrat Buffalo Diamond slot machine in Casino of the Earth. The player was betting $4 per spin and landed three bonus symbols which led to the Grand Progressive Jackpot being triggered.
Earlier this month, another player won a $412,000 prize. In July, the resort casino said there was one winner of $2 million.
