• Driver Killed In Montville Crash, Police Say (patch.com) — Montville residents are being urged to come forward with any information after a driver died from injuries suffered in a serious single-vehicle crash on Route 32 Thursday evening. Police say the southbound vehicle struck a guardrail, rock wall, traffic light, building, and utility pole before the driver was taken to Backus Hospital, where they later died. Investigators are still working to determine why the vehicle suddenly veered off course.
