Death Investigation Launched In Montville, Police Say

MONTVILLE, CT — A man was found dead near 2020 Norwich New London Turnpike, Montville Commons, at 11:39 a.m. Tuesday, police said.

An investigation into the death ensued and the incident does not appear suspicious, police said.

The case was referred to the Office of the Chief Medical Examine to determine the cause of death.

The investigation is ongoing.

"At this time, the identity of the deceased male is not being released as it is an ongoing investigation. The untimely death does not appear to be suspicious and there is no threat to the public," police said.
