Inaugural Music Festival To Feature Local Acts At Mohegan Sun
"Backyard Beats" is coming to the resort casino next month with DJs, bands, food, beer specials, and more.
UNCASVILLE, CT — An inaugural music festival dubbed "Backyard Beats" is coming to Mohegan Sun next month.
The event will be Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Sun Patio from 1 to 11 p.m.
The "all-day celebration will spotlight an exciting lineup of local bands, bringing high-energy performances and more," according to a statement from Mohegan Sun.

DJs for the inaugural music festival on the Sun Patio will be DJ Mikey V and DJae Mêlée, leading into local acts.
Backyard Beats performances include Jason Ingriselli and the Miles North, Souls on Fire, Red Light, Don’t Tell Lisa, The Fake Experience, and Juice Box.

Attendees can enjoy popular bites from local food trucks, including Hungry Lion and Philly’s, while taking advantage of $4 beer specials available throughout the event.
Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office.
