Mohegan Sun Introduces New Culinary, Music Festival

The inaugural festival will take over the casino resort's sun patio in June.

UNCASVILLE, CT — Mohegan Sun is introducing a new festival this summer celebrating New England cuisine and music. Savor New England is set to take over the Sun Patio on Saturday, June 7, from 2 to 6 p.m.

The event will feature a range of local food vendors serving regional fare, including seafood and other signature New England dishes. Attendees can sample offerings from various restaurants and vote for their favorite entry in a clam chowder competition. Food samples will be available for $5 each.

Live music will be part of the event. Kicking off the afternoon is Roomful of Blues, a Rhode Island-based band known for its blend of jump blues, swing, and rock ‘n’ roll. The group will perform from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Following that, Will Evans, a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter also from Rhode Island, will take the stage from 4 to 6 p.m.

Tickets for general admission provide access to the event but do not include food or beverages. An upgraded ticket option, Sip & Savor, includes unlimited samples from local breweries and wineries from 4 to 6 p.m. Guests must be 21 or older to participate in the Sip & Savor portion.

Tickets are available through Ticketmaster and the Mohegan Sun Box Office, while supplies last.

Savor New England is open to all ages and is part of Mohegan Sun’s broader seasonal programming. Additional information can be found at mohegansun.com.
