Mohegan Sun Recognized For Entertainment, Dining In New England Guide
Yankee Magazine has given the nod to Mohegan Sun in its 2025 Travel Guide, naming it as a standout in the region.

UNCASVILLE, CT — Mohegan Sun Arena and the restaurant Beauty & Essex have been recognized in Yankee Magazine’s 2025 Travel Guide, which highlights standout destinations across the region.
Mohegan Sun Arena was named one of the “10 Best Things to Do in Connecticut This Summer,” while Beauty & Essex earned the title of the state’s “Best Immersive Dining Experience.”

“We’ve worked hard to create an all-encompassing destination where guests can enjoy nationally touring performers, chef-driven dining, luxury hotel accommodations and vibrant nightlife, all without leaving the resort,” said Jeff Hamilton, president and general manager of Mohegan Sun.
The 10,000-seat arena draws more than 700,000 guests annually and hosts over 120 events, including upcoming performances by James Arthur, Rod Stewart, Eric Clapton, and the Jonas Brothers. The Connecticut Sun also play home games at the venue throughout the summer.

Beauty & Essex, which opened in February, is known for its speakeasy-style entrance and dramatic interiors. The restaurant is led by chef Chris Santos and features a menu of shareable dishes such as grilled cheese dumplings and stuffed lobster.
“Sharing the ‘Best of New England’ is a non-stop mission for our team,” said Kim Knox Beckius, travel editor at Yankee Magazine. “We want our readers to have pinnacle experiences here in New England.”
