MONTVILLE, CT — On Nov. 4, Montville residents cast their votes for several key municipal positions in town. Here's everything you need to know about the upcoming municipal election.

Election Day polling hours and locations

Polls in Connecticut are open 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. You can use the Secretary of State’s website to find your polling place. Voters who are in line by 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote.

Same day voter registration

If you are not registered, but want to vote on Election Day, you may register in person on Election Day at your Election Day Registration site People must be registered by 8 p.m. in order to vote using Election Day registration.

Town Council, Vote for Up to Seven

The Democratic candidates are Kate Southard, Nick Sabilia, Tim May, Bill Barlow, Billy Caron, and Joe Jaskiewicz, and the Republican candidates are Rachael L Novak, Brian E Baker, Alfred J Mandler, Dillon L Troxell, Frank P Miceli, and Thomas J McNally


Board of Education, Not More Than Three From One Party

The Democratic candidates are Timothy Shanahan, Joe Socha and Angela Sherbanee, and the Republican candidates are Wills M Pike, Norman E Sylvia III, and Tina M Grove


Board of Assessment Appeals, Vote for One

The Democratic candidate is Gary Murphy and the Republican candidate is Jonathan M Genesky


Zoning Board of Appeals Full Term, Vote for Up to Two

The Democratic candidates are John MacNeil and Doug Adams and the Republican candidates are John M Plikus and Nicholas J Fort


Zoning Board of Appeals To Fill Vacancy For Two Years, Vote for One

The candidate is Art Montors, a Democrat
