Montville Election Results 2022: Ballot Question Results, Vote Totals

Here are the vote totals for every race in Montville's 2022 state and federal elections.

MONVILLE, CT — Montville voters went to the polls Tuesday to cast votes in state and federal elections. Below are the unofficial vote totals from each race according to the Secretary of State.

In Connecticut, Gov. Ned Lamont won reelection as did U.S. Sen. Richard Blumenthal, and Democrats swept the top state offices including: Secretary of State, Stephanie Thomas, Treasurer, Erick Russell, Comptroller, Sean Scanlon, and Attorney General William Tong.

On the Congressional level, four Democratic incumbents, Rosa L. DeLauro, Jim Himes, Joe Courtney, John Larson, rolled to victory, while the race between Republican George Logan and incumbent Democrat Jahana Hayes remains too close to call as of Wednesday.

Montville local ballot question

The New London Day reported that residents approved borrowing about $8 million for school renovation projects. Four schools would undergo renovations. (Read more about the funding at The New London Day.)

  • Pietro Camardella (Republican Candidate): 772

Districtwide, Osten received 19,670 votes and Camardella earned 15,458 votes.

  • Martha Marx (Democratic, Working Families Party): 2,043
  • Jerry Labriola Jr. (Republican, Independent Party): 2,499

Marx received a total of 19,710 votes districtwide compared to 18,001 for Labriola.

  • Nick Menapace (Democratic, Working Families Party): 769
  • Holly Cheeseman (Republican, Independent Party): 917

Districtwide, Cheeseman received 6,295 votes and Menapace earned 5,791 votes.


38th District

  • Nick Gauthier (Democratic, Independent, Working Families Party): 966
  • Kathleen M. McCarty (Republican Party): 1,043

McCarty received 5,628 total votes district wide and Gauthier, 5396 votes.


139th District

  • Kevin Ryan (Democratic, Independent, Working Families Party): 1,233
  • Mark Adams (Republican Party): 1,306

Districtwide, Ryan received 4,146 votes and Adams earned 3,672 votes.
