Montville's Not-So-Sunny Weekend Forecast
We'll let you know if you will need to carry the umbrella with you when you head outdoors this weekend.

This weekend won’t be a complete washout but there will also be something missing from the sky, and that just happens to be copious amounts of sunshine.
In the latest National Weather Service forecast, a chance of showers is predicted throughout the weekend and into early next week, but the skies will be mostly cloudy the majority of the time.
On Wednesday, we could hit 80 degrees, just in time for summer weather to finally arrive in advance of the unofficial start to summer — Memorial Day weekend.
Here are the latest forecast details from the National Weather Service:
- Friday: Sunshine and temps in the mid-70s.
- Saturday: Rain is possible after 2 p.m. and it will be mostly cloudy. Temps will be in the mid-60s on the coast and near 70 in inland sections.

- Wednesday: Finally, the sun returns and so do warmer temps. Temps will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.
