Project Graduation Thanks Montville Supporters

Project Graduation has raised more than $25,000 for the Montville High School graduation party, and the organizers are thanking those who donated to the effort.

The funds will go toward a party to be held in a secret location following the Class of 2013 graduation on June 20. Christine Meisner and Susan Rickards, co-chairs of Project Graduation, said several people have helped out and that the bulk of the donations came from local businesses.

Those interested in contributing to Project Graduation may still take part in the Flamingo Flocking Fundraiser until the end of the school year. People can order 15 to 60 plastic flamingos to roost on a friend or family member’s lawn for a day. People may also order “anti-flocking insurance” to make sure their lawn stays flamingo-free. Orders may be dropped off at the Montville Youth Services Bureau or Montville High School.
