Undercover Child Sex Abuse Sting Operation Nets 5 Arrests In Montville: PD
Five men face multiple charges, according to police.

MONTVILLE, CT — Police on Friday announced the arrests of five men following an undercover sting operation aimed at apprehending child sexual predators.
Police worked in conjunction with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Violent Crimes Against Children Task Force in the effort.
Police did not release details on how the sting operation was conducted.

The following men were charged with enticing a minor and commercial sex abuse of a minor: Robert Poissant, Jai Rampersaud, Michael Zemo, Alexander Ukonu, and John Fonda.
Police did not release their ages or addresses.

Poissant was additionally charged with interfering with an officer/resisting arrest.
Fonda also faces charges of criminal attempt to deliver alcohol to a minor, possession of a controlled substance, and failure to keep narcotics in their original container.
The men were held on bonds ranging from $100,000 to $150,000.
