Residents were asked to vote on whether to appropriate $8.5 million for local roads and $2.35 million for a school project.

MONTVILLE, CT — Here is how ballot questions were answered in town, according to information posted by the state Secretary of State's website.
1. "Shall the Constitution of the State be amended to permit the General Assembly to allow each voter to vote by absentee ballot?"

2. "Shall the Town of Montville appropriate $8,500,000 for road improvement projects, including paving, reconstruction and repair of existing roads, bridges and culverts, and related drainage projects, stormwater drainage improvements, and related work, and authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds and notes in the same amount to finance said appropriation?"

"Shall the Town of Montville appropriate $2,350,000 for the reconstruction and replacement of the track and turf field at Montville High School, including all related equipment, construction and reconstruction, and authorize the issuance of general obligation bonds and notes in the same amount to finance said appropriation?"
