Naugatuck Police Swear In 2 New Officers

NAUGATUCK, CT — Two new officers were sworn in as members of the Naugatuck Police Department during a ceremony this week, according to police.

In a Facebook post, police said Oscar Taborda and Evan Bennett were both sworn in Tuesday night by Mayor Pete Hess.

After the holidays, Taborda and Bennett will begin their journeys as police officers in training at the Milford Police Academy, according to the department.
