2 Killed In Multi-Vehicle Accident Sunday: Newington Police
Police said to expect lengthy road closures as a result of the accident.
NEWINGTON, CT — Two people were killed in a multi-vehicle crash Sunday morning, police said.
At 9:30 a.m. police responded to East Cedar Street, Route 175, on the report of a motor vehicle accident. Police said two people died as a result of the accident.
The road is closed from Rt5 to Hawley Street. The Midstate Accident Reconstruction Team is investigating the accident. The road will be closed for several hours, police said.
