Crash Cleared, Berlin Turnpike Reopens In Newington: Update
A section of the roadway was closed due to a crash.
NEWINGTON, CT — A well-traveled state road in town was closed Friday afternoon after a motor vehicle accident, according to an alert by the Newington Police Department, but it is now reopened.
According to the NPD, the northbound side of the Berlin Turnpike is shut down at Main Street due to the crash.
The alert was issued at about 2:45 p.m. and the notificaiton of the road's reopening was at about 4:21 p.m.
