High-Tech Laser Tag Games Coming To Newington
The new facility actually replaces a prior laser tag facility that closed amid the pandemic in 2020.
NEWINGTON, CT — High-tech laser tag is coming back to Newington, nearly four years after it left amid the pandemic shutdown.
Dutch-based LaserMaxx Lasergames is planning to open a high-tech, indoor laser tag facility at 3005 Berlin Turnpike in Newington sometime this spring.
Last week, the company announced a facility will open in Newington, its first Connecticut location, with a call already being put out for prospective employees.

The company posted a help wanted notice for part-time, full-time, entry-level, and managerial positions.
The location last was a Laser Quest indoor amusement facility, but it closed amid the chaos of the 2020 pandemic shutdown and never reopened.

LaserMaxx bills itself as a worldwide "powerhouse in entertainment" and it features 1 million players a month at its facilities.
According to the LaserMaxx website, it has operations in 50 countries worldwide over five continents.
In addition to laser tag games, LaserMaxx also features virtual reality attractions as well.
