Newington To Activate Winter Parking Ban

The ban on Newington will last from Saturday night into Monday morning due to the snowstorm expected this weekend.

NEWINGTON, CT — This weekend's snowstorm will activate parking bans statewide and Newington is no exception.

The Newington Police Department Friday said the winter weather, expected to dump seveal inches of snow Saturday into Sunday, will activate that town's winter parking regulations.

Police said a town-wide parking ban will begin from 8 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 6, through 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8.
