NEWINGTON — Local police announced this morning that Pane Road has been closed to traffic due to a motor vehicle accident.

According to a Newington Police Department Twitter post at about 8:50 a.m. today, Pane Road is closed between the Berlin Turnpike and Church Street.

Police are advising motorists to avoid the area and seek alternate routes to their destination.
