• Arrests made in a string of Newington burglaries back in October (wfsb.com) — Newington police say two Hartford residents have been arrested in connection with an attempted home burglary and a same-night business break-in and vehicle theft in town last October. Investigators used DNA, fingerprints, and surveillance video to identify the suspects, who allegedly later drove the stolen vehicle to Hartford, where it was involved in a shooting incident. Court appearances are scheduled in New Britain.
