Pedestrian Killed In Newington Crash: Report
A New Britain woman was struck by a car and killed Tuesday night.
NEWINGTON, CT — A woman is dead after she was struck by a car in Newington on Tuesday night, according to WTNH News-8. Police responded to the report of a crash at Willard Avenue north of New Britain Avenue at 7:22 p.m.
Yvonne Constant, 55, of New Britain, was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced deceased. The driver of the car remained at the scene, according to WTNH News-8.
The road remained closed for several hours during the investigation.
