Robbins Avenue Closes For 'Several Hours': Police
The street has closed between Main Street and Basswood Street because of a downed pole and wires, Newington police said.
NEWINGTON, CT — A stretch of Robbins Avenue will likely be closed for "several hours" so police can respond to a downed pole and wires, Newington Police said.
As of around 3:30 p.m., the road is closed between Main Street and Basswood Street, police said. A pole is down and wires have spilled across the road.
Police said they expect the closure to last for several hours.
