$4 Million Road Work Project Approved In New London: Report
The city council has approved a year-long reconstruction project for Jefferson Avenue.
NEW LONDON, CT — The city council has approved a year-long reconstruction project for Jefferson Avenue, The New London Day reported. The project is scheduled to begin next month and includes replacing a traffic signal at Jefferson Avenue and Chester Street with a roundabout.
The $4 million dollar project is being funded primarily through a state grant. The move is intended to help traffic flow and reduce the number of accidents.
