Bus Driver Threatened At Knifepoint In New London: Report
Southeast Area Transit bus drivers are demanding additional safety measures after an incident last month.
NEW LONDON, CT —Southeast Area Transit (SEAT) bus drivers are demanding additional safety measures after a bus driver was threatened at knifepoint last month, according to WTNH News-8. Rose Dawson said she stepped off her bus at the Water Street stop in New London on Dec. 27 and came face to face with a man who put a knife to her throat.
A SEAT general manager said that safety protocols are in place, but a safety committee will determine if more needs to be done.
