NEW LONDON, CT — A busy intersection in New London will be closed for up to six weeks for emergency stabilization work at the Second Congregational Church property, according to the city.
The closure begins Monday at the four-way intersection at Broad and Hempstead streets.

"We strongly encourage all commuters and residents to use GPS navigation apps such as Waze or Google Maps for up-to-date detour information and real-time routing adjustments throughout the duration of the work," the city wrote.
