COVID-19 Test Kits Delayed; New London Officials Update On Event
New London officials provide update on the planned COVID-19 at-home test distribution event.

NEW LONDON, CT — Gov. Ned Lamont has notified municipalities that the COVID-19 at-home test kits for local distribution may not arrive in Connecticut in time for dispersal on Thursday.
Lamont cited shipping and warehouse delays outside of the state’s control.
“My staff and multiple state agencies have spent the past several days working around the clock to accelerate the movement of our tests through what is clearly a shipping and distribution bottleneck on the West Coast amid unprecedented international demand for tests,” Lamont said in a statement.
