Details Released On Bridge Work That Will Impact I-95 Access In New London

NEW LONDON, CT — Bridge will begin Oct. 3 on Route 32 over I-95 northbound in New London.

The Connecticut Department of Transportation work is scheduled for two weekends.

The first begins Oct. 3 at 8 p.m. and will be completed by Oct. 5 at noon.

The second begins Oct. 17 and will continue until Oct. 19 at noon.

The Route 32 on-ramp to I-95 northbound will be closed to traffic during these times.

The schedule may change based on the weather and other factors.

This project ensures the bridge remains in a state of good repair, according to a police department Facebook post.
