High Wind Warning For New London, Middlesex Counties
Numerous power outages have been reported.

A high wind warning is in effect until 8 a.m. for southern parts of New London and Middlesex counties.
The weather service said to expect south winds 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 60 mph.
"Damaging winds will blow down trees and power lines. More widespread power outages are expected. Travel will be difficult, especially for high profile vehicles....Strongest winds expected near south facing shorelines."

More than 25,000 power outages have been reported in Connecticut due to overnight storms.
