NEW LONDON, CT — Merry Day & Jolly Nights is a series of events by Neff Productions from November to January "honoring the city’s rich diversity of cultures, faiths, and traditions."
Christmas Tree Lighting, Nov. 28, 5 to 6 p.m. at Parade Plaza
Kick off the holiday season at New London’s Christmas Tree Lighting at Parade Plaza. From 5 to 6 p.m., visitors can enjoy performances from the Eastern Connecticut Symphony Chorus, the Shoreline Ringers Bell Choir, the New London Arts Magnet Pathway Chorus, and St. Joseph’s Hurricane Color Guard.

At 5:30 p.m., Santa Claus arrives in an illuminated Jeep parade down Bank Street. After the tree is lit, families are invited to take photos with Santa at The Golden Owl.

Santa Shopping Stroll, Dec. 13, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Menorah Lighting, Dec. 14, 3 to 5 p.m. at Parade Plaza
Join the community for a celebratory Menorah Lighting at Parade Plaza, recognizing the traditions and joy of Hanukkah.
Kwanzaa Kinara Lighting, Dec. 26, 5 p.m. at Parade Plaza
Celebrate the values and heritage of Kwanzaa with a public Kinara Lighting ceremony honoring unity and cultural pride.
Three Kings Celebration, Jan. 6, presented by ADNL / Asociación de Dominicanos de New London at 176 State St.
