Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In New London Wreck

NEW LONDON, CT — A motorcyclist was injured in a wreck with another vehicle on Montauk Avenue on Sunday, according to police. The accident occurred at 6:16 p.m. at the intersection with Orchard Street.

The motorcyclist was conscious and was transported to Lawrence + Memorial Hospital then Yale New Haven Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The other driver declined treatment, The New London Day reported.

The road reopened at 8:30 p.m.

The accident investigation remains active.
