New London Delays COVID-19 Test Distribution

NEW LONDON, CT — It is unfortunate that today’s New London COVID-19 HOME RAPID TEST Kit distribution at CB Jennings School is canceled.

Early this morning, Mayor Michael E. Passero and his staff were notified by the State of Connecticut that there were “No test kit flights overnight” and that distributions of the test kits across the state for today would not be possible. However, New London City Staff is closely monitoring this situation. When the home test kits and masks are available, the city is committed to distributing those necessary materials and supplies to the community as soon as possible.
