New London Mental Health Workers Set To Strike: Report
The dispute is over pay for workers and staffing levels at a New London mental health clinic.
NEW LONDON, CT — Union members are planning a three-day strike at Sound Community Services due to pay and staffing levels at the mental health clinic, FOX 61 reported. A union representative said that around 80% of the union's 73 workers at the site will strike.
The union representative said that workers haven't received a significant pay increase in decades.
The dispute comes as the union's four-year contract is coming to an end.
