New London Road Reconstruction Project Nears End: Report
The nearly $4-million rebuilding of a local road is set to be completed next month.
NEW LONDON, CT — A road construction project on Jefferson Avenue will wrap up next month, according to The Day. The $3.9 million state project involved reconstruction of the road along with the addition of a roundabout, new sidewalks, crosswalks, lighting, and curbing.
The work has resulted in back-ups due to alternating lanes of traffic and detours. The project is anticipated to be completed at the beginning of September.
