New London Toy Drive To Benefit Safe Futures

The toy drive is Wednesday at the Sunrise Cafe and will benefit a social services organization.

NEW LONDON, CT — Sunrise Cafe, 36 Golden Street, will host a Toy Drive to benefit Safe Futures of New London from 3-5 p.m. Wednesday.

The event is presented in partnership with Sandi Cleaning Services LLC, the City’s fire and police departments, and Mayor Michael Passero’s office.

Sandi Cleaning Services LLC and Safe Futures will be accepting donations for children, teens, and tweens during this event. Accepted items for the drive include winter coats and apparel, dolls/action figures, play sets, coloring books and writing utensils, backpacks, water bottles, art supplies, craft kits, and gift cards.

For security and safety reasons, gifts should be new and unwrapped.
