Popular Brunch Spot Plans To Open New London Restaurant
The third location of a family-owned restaurant is charting an opening in downtown New London.
NEW LONDON, CT — Water Street Waffle Company will open a location in downtown New London. The restaurant lists the location as "coming soon" on its website.
Water Street Waffle Company has two existing locations in Texas in Belton and Temple.
The restaurant specializes in brunch and serves Liege waffles, a type of Belgian waffle made with a dough similar to brioche. Owners Bobbi and Jeff Seger opened the chain in 2019.

"As a family-owned and operated business, their mission has always been to bring fresh, made-from-scratch flavors and a welcoming atmosphere to Historic Downtown Belton," according to the website.
The New London location will open at 133 Bank St. this month, according to The Day of New London.

The menu includes appetizers like mini grit fritters and bourbon maple biscuits, specialty waffles in flavors like banana pecan praline and cinnamon white chocolate banana, loaded French toast, cocktails, and more.
The original location in Belton, Texas, receives a 4.5-star average review out of 2,529 reviews on Google.
