Recent Death Notices From New London County

NEW LONDON, CT — Recent death notices from New London County:
- Albert Piela Jr, 80, of Niantic, was assistant principal at Robert E. Fitch Junior High School and later Fitch Senior High School.
- Efstratia “Effie” Sfugaras, 82 of New London, was born in Greece and is survived by two daughters and four grandchildren.
- Sharon Butler, 65 of Gales Ferry, had three daughters and worked as an occupational therapist.
- Peter Milton Green, 84, of Gales Ferry and Waterford, served in the Air Force reserves and earned several air medals during his 28 years.
- Bryan Kevin Hall, 68, of Ledyard, was an employee at Electric Boat for 20 years and served as a supervisor for the Mashantucket Pequot Tribal Nation.
- Alexander Scott Woods, 34, of Ledyard, was a talented athlete who played baseball, football, and golf.
