NEW LONDON, CT — Recent death notices from New London County:
- Daniel J. Monaco, 95, of Gales Ferry, served as a sergeant in the Army during the Korean War and started his own auto repair business in Groton.
- Ronald F. Prevost, Sr., 70 of Groton, was a commercial electrician at General Cable and was known for his love for his family.
- Robert (Bob) Edward Kelly, 97, of East Lyme, coached youth baseball and worked at Electric Boat for many years.
- Robert “Rob” J. Prokop Jr., 57 of Salem, grew up in East Lyme and worked at local marinas.
- George Franklin Wilkinson, 78, of Groton, was a veteran of the U.S. Army and worked as a self-employed truck driver for many years.
