NEW LONDON, CT — Recent death notices from New London County:

Timothy “Bill” Sullivan, 82, of Groton, taught English for 42 years at Montville High School and Norwich Free Academy.

Jan David Christiansen, 88, of East Lyme, worked in the electronics business, purchasing Jabbour Electronics in 1978.

Terrence Galvin McKenna, 78, of North Stonington, served in the Army for three years and worked for 25 years in the real estate business.

Wayne G. Tillinghast, 89, of Groton Long Point, was an attorney and an adjunct professor at the University of Connecticut Law School.

Josephine Rose Root, 94, was a New London native and worked at East Lyme Middle School.
