Man Rescued After Fall Down Embankment In North Haven
The man was taken to the hospital after falling down an embankment in the back of a home in North Haven, according to fire officials.
NORTH HAVEN, CT — A man was rescued after falling down an embankment in the back of a residential property Tuesday morning in North Haven, according to fire officials.
Crews responded around 9:20 a.m. to a 911 call reporting that a person was injured after falling down an embankment.
Fire personnel raised the man “50’ upslope using a rope haul system,” according to a post on the North Haven Fire Department’sFacebook page.

The man was taken to the hospital, and officials said a second resident was assisted up the slope.
No other injuries were reported, according to officials.
