• North Haven Lawmakers Recognize Blue Ribbon Achievement at Green Acres Elementary School (northhavennews.com) — North Haven families can celebrate Green Acres Elementary being honored as a National Blue Ribbon School for its standout academics and success closing achievement gaps. Local lawmakers Sen. Paul Cicarella and Rep. Dave Yaccarino visited the Pre-K–5 school, which serves many high-needs students, to recognize its record-high performance in English, math, and science and three straight years as a School of Distinction.

• Hydrogen Fuel Cells to Deliver Clean Power at Quinnipiac University Campuses (hydrogenfuelnews.com) — Quinnipiac University is installing hydrogen fuel cells at its North Haven health sciences campus, supplying most of the site’s electricity while cutting emissions and stabilizing energy costs. The project, part of a 10-year deal with VFS Energy Services, also supports local clean-energy jobs in North Haven and Hamden and gives students a real-world sustainability lab right outside their classrooms.
