Man Rescued After Driving Into Water At Rowayton Beach: Norwalk Police
A man was rescued by witnesses after driving into the water at Bayley Beach in Rowayton on Sunday, according to police.

NORWALK, CT — A man was rescued by witnesses after driving into the water at Bayley Beach in Rowayton on Sunday, according to police.
In an email to Patch, Police Deputy Chief Joseph Dinho said the man accidentally drove over the edge of a parking area and into the water at the Roton Point Association around 4:45 p.m.
The driver was pulled out of the vehicle by witnesses and was being brought back to shore on a surfboard as police arrived, according to Dinho.

Dinho also noted the man was the sole occupant of the vehicle and "is OK."
The incident is still under investigation, according to Dinho.
