Man Wanted Out Of California Arrested In Norwalk: Police

NORWALK, CT — A man wanted out of California was arrested Thursday morning in Norwalk, according to police.

In a news release, Police Sgt. Ryan Evarts said members of the U.S. Marshals Service and the Norwalk Police Patrol Division arrested Jeffrey Farr, 70, of Norwalk, at his home on a full extradition warrant.

According to Evarts, Farr was wanted out of San Diego, Calif., for two felony counts of lewd and lascivious acts with a child under the age of 14.

Farr was booked and charged as a fugitive from justice at Norwalk police headquarters, Evarts said.

His bond was set at $400,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court this week, according to Evarts.
