Norwalk Man Accused Of Sexual Assault, Threatened Victim: Police
The suspect is accused of threatening to share explicit photographs of the victim, according to authorities.

NORWALK, CT — A 26-year-old Norwalk man was arrested on a warrant Thursday in connection with a sexual assault, in which the suspect threatened to share explicit photographs of the victim, according to Norwalk police.
Jason Acosta-Williams surrendered to police and was arrested on charges of first-degree sexual assault and coercion.
The case began in August, when police were notified of a sexual assault.

"Acosta-Williams had threatened to share explicit photographs of the victim with the victim’s family and coworkers if the victim did not engage in sexual relations with him," wrote Norwalk Deputy Chief Terrence Blake in a statement.
After obtaining a warrant for his arrest, initial attempts by police to find Acosta-Williams were not successful, but he eventually turned himself in.

Acosta-Williams was held in lieu of bail of $150,000, and he is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
