Swimming Prohibited At Norwalk Beaches Due To 'Excessive Rainfall'
Norwalk officials said swimming is prohibited at Calf Pasture and Shady beaches following heavy rain that began Wednesday evening.

NORWALK, CT — Swimming at Calf Pasture Beach and Shady Beach in Norwalk is prohibited Thursday following heavy rainstorms that began Wednesday evening, according to the city.
In a Facebook post Wednesday around 8 p.m., city officials said swimming was prohibited at both beaches "for the next 24 hours" due to excessive rainfall.
