WEATHER UPDATE: Norwalk's Hour-by-Hour Monday Forecast

What's forecast and when on Monday and overnight in Norwalk.

The National Weather Service has issued a “Winter Weather Advisory” in effect until 6 a.m., Tuesday for snow and ice which is expected to fall for most of the day.

The weather service is predicting 1 to 3 inches of snow and a tenth of an inch of ice accumulating by late tonight in parts of southern Connecticut and the lower Hudson Valley.

But only about an inch of snow and about a tenth of an inch of ice is expected for Norwalk all day, according to the weather service’s 9:52 a.m. update of its Norwalk-specific forecast.

The weather service states that travel will be “hazardous” due to snow and ice accumulation along with reduced visibilities.
