Crash Victim, Former Norwich Alderman, Succumbs to Injuries

The victim of a serious car crash in Milford, who served as a Norwich alderman, succumbed to his injuries.

NORWICH--The victim of a head-on collision on I-95 in Milford last month, and a former Norwich alderman, succumbed to his injuries Monday.

Terrell Wilson, 24, a former alderman in Norwich, suffered major injuries in an April 16 car accident, when his car was struck head on by a wrong way driver on I-95.

Wilson died Monday "after suffering heart failure over the weekend" a spokeswoman told The New London Day.

The 24-year-old, who has a twin brother and is one of eight children, attended Norwich public schools and served as a member of the Norwich NAACP, The Day reports.

He was an alderman from 2013-2015.
