• Man Faces Kidnapping, Assault Charges After Norwich Domestic Disturbance: PD (patch.com) — Norwich police say a woman was injured and a man arrested after an alleged assault and kidnapping that began near the Cumberland Farms on Laurel Hill Avenue Tuesday evening. Officers later stopped the vehicle, found the woman elsewhere for medical treatment, and charged the suspect with kidnapping, assault, and related offenses; he’s being held on bond and is due in Norwich Superior Court. 
• United Way's Tommy Toy program brings holiday gifts to Norwich kids (norwichbulletin.com) — Nearly 1,500 Norwich children received holiday toys this week at Reliance Health’s Morosky Building, which served as a bustling hub for United Way’s Tommy Toy Program. The Norwich Wellness Center was packed with pallets of gifts for ages 0–12, and almost every toy was handed out. Residents can already look ahead to next year by learning how to register, donate, or volunteer online.
