Man Wounded In Norwich Attack: Police
The victim suffered a neck laceration, according to police.
NORWICH, CT — A man was assaulted with an “edged weapon” and suffered a cut on his neck early Monday, police said.
Lt. Kyle Besse said police received a 911 call Monday just before 9 a.m.
Police responded to the area of 191 Franklin St., where they discovered the wounded 56-year-old male.

The man was taken to the William W. Backus Hospital for treatment. Police said the injury was not life-threatening.
