(Kunstraum) Dada Post was an artist-run organization, founded in January 2008, by Howard McCalebb in Berlin, Germany. In 2022 Mr. McCalebb moved to Norwich, Connecticut, and establish the art gallery Dada Post USA. Mr. McCalebb is a sculptor and active figure on the international art scene. Dada Post USA is an autonomous space for the production, display and discussion of current art. Foremost, we contemplate artistic expression from the standpoint of pure inspiration emanating from the source – the artist. We are keenly interested in the effects of Globalization on art practice, and the notion of a hybridized Post Modern art practice. As a contemporary art space, Dada Post USA is primarily concerned with artwork that is the most current, reflecting the actual meaning of the term: Contemporary Art. We offer a program of exhibitions and events, featuring videos, poetry/literary readings, music and other live performances, during and between art exhibitions. The original inspiration for both (Kunstraum) Dada Post and Dada Post USA was the Cabaret Voltaire in Zürich, Switzerland and Andy Warhol’s Factory in New York City – which were open venues for impromptu gatherings, events, and artistic experimentation. NORWICH, CT — Police are asking for the public's help to locate missing resident Datona Depizzol. Depizzol, 29, is described as Caucasian, with brown hair and light blue eyes. She is approximately 5 foot three inches tall, and she weighs about 181 lbs. She has a nose piercing and tattoos, including a "J" on her left arm, a heart on her right hand, and a heart above her right eye. Depizzol was last seen Feb. 28 in Norwich, though police believe she may be in the Hartford/West Hartford area. Depizzol's grey Cadillac, bearing Connecticut license plate BH13280, was last seen in West Hartford on March 24. Her case <a href="https://www.namus.gov/MissingPersons/Case#/141072/details?nav" rel="nofollow" target="_blank">has been entered</a> in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System, or NamUs. Anyone with information on Depizzol's whereabouts is asked to call police at 860-886-5561, ext 6.
