Obituary: Mary Ellen Hogan Betlinski, 85, formerly of Orange
Mary was a loving wife, sister, aunt and friend to many.
ORANGE, CT - (From Cody-White Funeral Home) Mary Ellen Hogan Betlinski, 85, formerly of New Port Richy, FL, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2021.
Born on November 29, 1936 in Lowville, NY, she was the daughter of the late Amy and James F. Hogan, Sr.
Mary Ellen was raised in Orange but graduated from Milford High School as Amity was not yet built. In her mid-20's, she moved to the west coast and spent time living in San Diego, Los Angeles, CA and Seattle, WA.
She moved back to Enfield, CT in the mid-80's before settling in New Port Richey, FL to enjoy retirement.
Mary Ellen is survived by her brothers: James F. Hogan, Jr. and Richard Hogan; nieces and nephews: Paula (Christopher) Garvey, Phillip, Christopher and Scott Hogan and Arielle (Matt) Sokolis; great niece and nephew, Catherine and Alexander Garvey; and her stepchildren, Marsha and Barry.
She was predeceased by her husband, Edward Betlinski, and brother, Patrick Hogan.
A Graveside Service will take place on Thursday, January 6, 2022 at 10:30 a.m. at Orange Center Cemetery, Orange Center Rd., Orange. (MEET DIRECTLY AT CEMETERY).
