On Campus: Great Achievements By College Students From Oxford

OXFORD, CT — Here are some recent notable accomplishments by local college students, as provided by readMedia Newswire. More great feats will be noted as they are received in the coming weeks.

Eastern Connecticut State University, Willimantic CT

• Five students from Oxford made the Dean's List for the spring 2025 semester, in which 1,302 students were recognized for maintaining high GPAs. Oxford honorees and their majors were Julia Crutchfield, business administration; Justin Black, physical education; Samantha Montesano, psychology; Hannah Pasuth, psychology; and Allison McElfresh, women's and gender studies. To qualify for Dean's List, full-time students must complete a minimum of 12 credits in letter-graded courses with an average GPA of 3.5 or higher in the semester.

State University of New York, Oneonta NY

• Elena Ruthman of Oxford was one of more than 1,175 SUNY Oneonta students who earned Dean's List honors for the spring 2025 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

Stonehill College, Easton MA

• Molly Clifford, a member of the Class of 2028 from Oxford, has been named to the spring 2025 Dean's List at Stonehill College. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must have a semester grade point average of 3.50 or higher and must have successfully completed all courses for which they were registered.
